With 45 years combined RV Sales and Service experience, 19 years ago Steve and Sandy Banas opened a small lot in Cypress, California and filled it with used coaches. These coaches were personally refurbished by Steve and Sandy with the help of their two employees.

After a few years of selling used coaches, as chance would have it, Pate Rawak, the Vice President of Airstream, was looking for representation in California. Because of Pate’s past relationship with Steve, Steve’s knowledge of Airstreams and his integrity and credibility, Southwest Coaches was awarded an Airstream franchise in 1995.

They made a dream come true

Southwest Coaches has been an Airstream dealer now for 17 years, and has been awarded the Top 5 Dealer Award for the past 7 years. In addition, Southwest Coaches has been awarded Airstreams #1 Travel Trailer Dealer in the world twice.

Our continued success is due to our highly experienced sales staff and an extremely supportive service department, both led by strong management. General Manager, Dan Banas and Sales Manager, Dave Delano have been with Southwest Coaches since 1996 and have worked their way up through the ranks. Our service department is another source of great pride and thrives under the leadership of Dwayne Ayres, Service Manager, and Justin Amy in Parts and Warranty offering great service in both locations.

With the addition of a second location in Indio, Southwest Coaches continues to be successful, representing the full lines of Airstream Trailers, consisting of the Classic, Sport, Flying Cloud and International Trailers along with the up and coming Interstate Touring Van. We are also proud to represent the full line of Carriage products including the Cabo, Cameo, Carri-Lite, and Royals International models. In addition, we have just been awarded the Luxury Redwood Franchise and soon to be announced the Ultimate Mobile Suites Franchise.
